Who says you have to stay a theme park hotel when vacationing in Orlando? Not us — not when there are options like the Sheraton Vistana Villages Resort Villas. The gorgeous, gated property features spacious villas for large groups, complete with fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, washers and dryers, free Wi-Fi and in many cases, balconies or patios. The hotel also offers swimming pools (some with kiddie features), onsite dining, a fitness center, spa services and shuttles to Disney World.
The resort’s location on I-Drive means you’re also close to area restaurants and all of the amusements — including the Orlando Eye — at I-Drive 360.

Rooms & Rates
The resort's villas are divided into four sections: Bella, St. Augustine, Amelia, and Key West. All areas offer one- or two-bedroom villas; one-bedroom units sleep up to four, while two-room villas can accommodate eight. All units are equipped with kitchens or kitchenettes, washers and dryers and complimentary Wi-Fi. Most units have a patio or balcony and -- bonus -- most units overlook the pools or a body of water!
Cribs are available upon request and free of charge; the resort does not provide rollaway beds, as they aren't typically needed.
When deciding which area of the resort you'd like to stay in, here are some key differences to know:
Amelia doesn't have a pool, though it's adjacent to a body of water. The closest pool is at St. Augustine.
This is the best area for families to stay in, as it has the pool with the pirate ship and waterslide! It's also closest to the Pirates Cove Bar & Grill, as well as the Marketplace.
This section of the resort is closest to the lobby and surrounds a giant pool.
Key West is a nice option for families, as well, as it is located at the back of the resort and therefore quieter.

My family and I stayed May2019 The room smells as if it was dampness are old water. The refrigerator was broke and all my food spoiled. I mention it to the staff and nothing was done. Poor customer service just a waste of my hard earn money! Fyi you will be charged without the staff even mentioning the charges to you. Highly disappointing
We stayed at the Sheraton Villages in Nov 2018 for our honeymoon, it was our first trip to the US and Florida and were both so happy with how it turned out.
My husband contacted the Sheraton before we came and advised it was our honeymoon and they offered various flowers and champagne packages we could add on but based on the cost we decided against this as felt it was overpriced. When we arrived however the check-in desk congratulated us on our marriage 2 days earlier and it was a lovely touch.
The rooms were clean, bright and spacious and generally really lovely! The spa bath was great and i made use of this after long days walking in the parks or shopping to soothe my sore feet lol! The room was stocked with all the utensils & appliances you could need and was a beautiful apartment overall.
The location is perfect if you’re doing universal & Disney as your practically in the middle of both, and shopping outlets 2 minutes down the ride and food places really close too which was great!
Before we came we read loads of reviews about people pushing time shares and i was really pleased that we weren't approached once apart from a voicemail left letting us know they could help with I-Drive tram, maps, uber & time shares which was nice as we never felt pushed and was more of an FYI.
The only thing i would say that we didn't enjoy was the restaurant, based on other eateries close to the resort the food was very overpriced and wasn't all that nice, when i hadn't eaten my meal i was asked if all was ok and i explained i hadn't enjoyed the meal and was offered a desert for free which was a nice acknowledgement of the fact that the food wasn't great. We used the maid service credit for the food and as such it didn't cost us anything so i can’t complain too much but wouldn't choose to eat there again.
We both had an incredible honeymoon and alot of that came down to the Sheraton vistana villages resort and staff and we cannot say thank you enough!! :-)
We will be returning to the Sheraton in Nov 2020 with our 2 daughters to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary and knowing how incredible the resort is we can’t wait!!
We have recommended the resort to family and friends and can’t wait to come back!! xx
The resort has a total of four swimming pools, each one positioned by a section of villas (see Rooms & Rates for details). The other pools offer fun waterfall features and plenty of comfy chairs on which to lounge.
The resort offers two hard-surface tennis courts, open 24 hours and lit at night. Equipment is available to rent.
