we had chalet number 14 which was so lovely from the balcony you could see the sea and was really close to restaurant and bar.As i don't dive this chalet was perfect for me two lovely sunbeds on our balcony and two chairs and a table. inside we had a big room with a half open bathroom plenty on lovely clean towels and bed linen. The restaurant was really nice you could pick what you wanted of the menu which had plenty to choose from. the bar was down a slope by the lovely pool which had a happy hour twice a night. one night we were treated to a show of traditional dancing which everyone enjoyed. I had two spa treatments and the spa was one of the nicest ones i've ever visited to relaxed and you went to your own little house in the spa for your treatment. we hope to return here one day as we loved it so much thank you to everyone who looked after us
My wife and I stayed at Siddhartha for several nights as part of our wedding anniversary trip to Indonesia. From the moment we first got in touch with the resort to the moment we left, the hospitality was fantastic.
Given our limited time in Bali, Barbara had organised and given us suggestions for the time available and we managed to dive the USS Liberty twice as well as visit Ubud on a day trip as well as the Pura Lempuyang and Tirta Gangga on another morning as well as enjoy areas of the resort.
The staff were all amazingly friendly and the resort was beautiful. It was relatively quiet during our stay which meant that we essentially had the pool to ourselves on most occasions. There are also daily yoga classes which in front of the ocean are very relaxing.
I have seen a few of the criticisms in some of the previous reviews and do not agree with some of them, especially the friendliness of the staff.
However I do acknowledge that the dive centre and the restaurant are relatively expensive in comparison to that found in other areas of Bali. However, that in itself did not in anyway detract from what a fantastic time we had and we would happily return.
