Scenic Setting

by ckatmomi

Went onst a bus trip for the Germanfest. Entertainment was fun, Site is very scenic. You can go out on the proch and walk down to the water,k Which is very pleasant. The food was just OK, Dinner was served family style and they did not give enough for the table, although they did comeback with more when asked but again not enough, Probably will not go back.

Going Home after a long 11 day trip

When I choose a listing from Select Registry I expect it to be a top of the line place. This is definitely what I would call Silver Birches. We had a luxury king suite and believe me it didn't look like any of the accommodations that were pictured on line. It was a large room with a nice view but very old and campish looking. I now realize that this is that kind of place. The breakfast was certainly not something that I would take a picture of and send home (which I do in most b&b places). The music in the restaurant was not pleasing to me that early in the morning. Just very disappointed.
