Pet friendly, good place to stop overnight

by IM4TONYSTEWART

We were passing through and chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and convenient to I85. We arrived around 9 PM and checked in. The front desk staff member was very welcoming. The lobby was very clean and well kept. We had a king suite on the first floor. It seemed to have been recently refreshed but there were some roughness in places that needed fresh paint. Otherwise the room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was large but there was no toilet paper holder or Kleenex. Also a crack in the shower wall and the base of the toilet looked like it was leaking slightly.

The tv had quite a few channels. The bed was comfortable enough and the pillows were nice. I was warm in the middle of the night and got up to turn the air on and it didn’t turn on but it might have been that the temp was set too high for it to turn in.

The breakfast selections were more than adequate. There were biscuits and gravy and sausage patties and links besides the normal offerings. The orange juice was watery.

We would stay here for one night again. It was an average experience and was clean. It was also very quiet during the night and that was appreciated.

THE BEST BED AND PILLOWS

by jeanetteg628

I NEVER like the pillows at the hotels I've stayed at, as they are typically small and flat. The pillows at Sleep Inn are WONDERFUL!
The beds are also sooo comfortable.
The hotel is quiet and just off a main road, near a Waffel House.
Kristine at the front desk was so helpful when we needed a new lightbulb in our room.
Breakfast was delicious.
