The Food!! My family and I recently headed up the canyon for an escape from the heat and a little brunch. Passing the mega resort of Snowbird, we headed directly to Snowpine Lodge, as I heard the food was phenomenal. From the views to the food, the experience did not disappoint. We sampled everything! My daughter loved the ricotta pancakes, the porketta sub was amazing, the bacon was cooked to perfection (my son is the ultimate connoisseur)! The ultimate icing on the cake, was the snowpine burger! It was burger perfection! If you are looking for amazing food, service and atmosphere, the Snowpine Lodge does not disappoint!!

This hotel was apparently new in January 2019. The design is amazing. In fact, I think it is one of the best hotels I have been in. The spaces are light and airy. Every floor has a communal sitting area around a huge gas/log fire in the centre. There is a games room on Level C. The pool and hot tub area is great. The expansive decks on every level ensure that you have a view of the mountain from wherever you are on that side of the hotel.
The rooms are small but adequate. Because of the large communal space, you only go to your room to sleep. You may or may not get a fridge so if you want one you should say so.
The negative for us was the restaurant. It was confusing. You could sit in the bar or the dining area and have the same (limited) menu. However, we moved from the bar both nights because the bartenders didn't appear to want to serve us. I even went up and asked for water and menus to alert them to the fact we were there. 30 minutes later we were still sitting there so we moved into the dining area and the server came immediately.
We thought the menu was extremely limited but apparently that is because it is summer. There was also very little onsite parking. You just had to park across the street on the road side.
We really loved our stay at this hotel but would struggle to pay the winter price of $750 per night. It was good but not that good.
