Reviews

Very nice hotel

by Parin J

Hotel is on lake Titicaca. Rooms were big and comfortable. All the hotels we had stayed in provided us water - this hotel we had to buy water. Restaurant was quite nice - food was great. Prices were reasonable. We boarded our boat from the pier at the hotel. Breakfast was good

Relax and watch the wild guinea pigs and alpacas!

I have to be honest, I was a little curious/nervous about this hotel after reading reviews and leaving a 5 star hotel in Cusco, but needless to say it was an enjoyable experience!
We stayed here 2 nights with a tour. The hotel is right on the lake so the views are beautiful. There are wild guinea pigs all over the yard and it was especially fun to watch the alpacas and the one younger alpaca was very curious by them.
The gentleman that cares for the alpacas was very nice and you can tell how much the alpacas love him so you know he takes great care of them!
Breakfast is average-we ate light due to the altitude.
We did eat dinner in the hotel both nights-the first night we had chicken noodle soup which could have used more flavor and the 2nd night I had the spiral trout which was good. Based on other reviews, I thought we were going to starve, but that was not the case.
My only complaint was we could hear the guests in the room next to us.
