Overview

It’s not the cheapest hotel, but the Spirit of Knights Boutique Hotel is an immaculate, boutique hotel in the heart of old town Rhodes. You will spend so much time photographing all of the small details and features of the rooms and common areas, including the library and sun deck/terrace, that you may forget there’s an entire medieval city waiting out there to explore!

Located at the tallest point of town, on a small cobbled street, you will think you have stepped into a period piece film set while at the Spirit of the Knights.

Three suites will accommodate families comfortably here – the Pasha with a king bedroom and sofa bed in the living room, Rodos suite with the same setup, and the Ottoman with king and twin beds.

Lovely respite from the noise of the Old Town

by VenturerSydney

We stayed for two nights at this hotel and it was a great choice. Rhodes in October is very busy and very hot so it was lovely to come back to this (relatively) secluded haven after a day of sightseeing. Nino was extremely helpful – he met us at the gate with a baggage trolley to navigate us to the hotel. He also made some great restaurant bookings for us. On our last day, Nino let us use one of our rooms after we had checked out which was very kind of him.

I stayed in the Crusader suite and my friend stayed in the Pasha suite. Of the two, I think the Pasha was a little better because it had an external window with a view. The Crusader’s windows were up too high to see much out of them (and I actually would have liked curtain on them because they ended up letting in a lot of light so I needed to sleep with a sleeping mask on).

The courtyard area really made the hotel: you feel like you are in a green oasis with the sound of water and not much else. That was beautiful spot for breakfast and to read in the afternoon.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel

This is a 6 bedroom hotel that has a great history in the old city of Rhodes. Beautifully decorated and off the beaten path so it is not noisy. The room are large and comfortable as well as the bathroom. Everything seems to have been updated recently. The breakfast was delicious and pretty much covered the whole gamut. from Real fresh orange juice to freshly made coffee when you ordered it. The outside patio is lush with plants with a fountain and it also has a jacuzzi. The people that work there are very pleasant and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Duncan not only helped us with our restaurant picks he is also quite funny. I didn’t give it five stars only because it’s stsrting to show a bit of wear. Nothing bothersome just nitpicking.
