I’ve stayed here quite often, it’s my favorite pool. I wish they had breakfast but that hasn’t stopped me from staying. The management is responsive to needs and request. One thing is I wish they had their handicap life maintained more often since my family member was not able to enter pool.
We were visiting our daughter in Houston and decided to do an overnight in Galveston. The app notifies us that our room was ready so we went there to check in. When we arrived they told us only one room was ready. I said the app told my my rooms were ready. The check in person said “well only one room is ready”. She seemed put out to have to deal with me. Once the second room became available we checked in and went to our rooms. When we got to our room my keys didn’t work. I went back down to the desk and they shrugged when I told them and recoded the keys. This time one key worked but the other didn’t. We went back down and she made a face and recoded the one key again. The air condoning at this hotel is pretty loud. Not good for light sleepers. The room was clean and everything else was ok.
