TripAdvisor Rating

Located 30 minutes north of Tampa International Airport and the city’s vibrant downtown, this SpringHill Suites offers comfortable and spacious accommodations for your family with convenient on/off access to Interstate 75. All rooms have a comfortable sitting area with a sleeper sofa and can accommodate families of five. The king and queen beds come with the luxe bedding you’d expect from a Marriott property. With a complimentary hot breakfast, outdoor pool and kitchenettes available in some of the rooms, the hotel provides a comfortable home base.

For added privacy, some suites have a sleep area with a partition separating it from the living and desk spaces. The sinks (two in each room) are also both outside and inside the bathroom, so more than one person can get ready at the same time. There are shopping and dining in the immediate area and parks and other nearby attractions to explore.

Quick Trip

I would highly recommend this hotel for the cleanliness, helpful staff, and location!

Yes, you can hear some of the background noise from the highway nearby, IF YOU DON'T have the A/C or heater running, BUT the bed is SO COMFORTABLE and the ambient sound of the A/C had me go right to sleep "EVERY" night!

The only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 was due to the cold coffee in the lobby in the "afternoons" and the strawberries / grapes presented on the breakfast buffet bar during my stay. Other than those "very" minor items-- I WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK for business or with family!

Friendly Staff, Aging Property With Some Glitches

I opted to stay here, as it was close to my business meetings. I was greeted by a pleasant host, which made off for a great start. Although I arrived early in the day, she graciously found a room for me. The lobby smelled off, like rotten eggs. The smell persisted for the duration of my stay. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was sagging and old, and the sheets were thin and pilled. This is a first for me at a Marriott property. Overall, a pleasant stay, but not the best that I have had at Springhill Suites.
