The Standard has an air of chic inventiveness. Having created a fun culture of its own, it is on the cutting edge of the hotel industry. The building stays 18 stories and holds over 330 rooms. Rooms range in size, but there is enough space to fit a crib in most. Beds are large and dressed with luxurious linens. Rooms feature sitting areas, plasma televisions and free wireless Internet. Suites are larger with teacup bathtubs, walk-in closets, dining areas and wet bars. Select rooms have intimate bathrooms that are not so private and show in the living room. Typically, children receive welcome gifts, like a rubber ducky and wipes. The hotel is situated on top of the High Line in the Meatpacking District. Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the beautiful skyline and the Empire State Building. The Standard Grill is a classy restaurant that serves all meals, including late night fare. A live DJ spins records each night in The Living Room in the lobby. Biergarten is a fun, German-style restaurant that specializes in pretzels and beer in outdoor seating.

We have thrown two events at the Standard High Line. For both events the event staff was very friendly, professional and thoughtful about our specific needs. The space is beautiful and convenient, and the food is amazing. We would definitely work with Enza and her team again.
Great boutique hotel located in Chelsea. Had quick lunch at the restaurant (The Grill) before heading back to airport. Everyone was very accommodating. New Executive Chef, Igor Krichmar is doing great food at the restaurant. Can't wait to go back and try dinner.
