Overview

This downtown hotel is pretty on the eyes, with throwback architecture, and is situated not only steps from the restaurants, shops and museums of Marquette but also along The Heritage Trail, a 47-mile bike path through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula leads to the Noquemanon Trail, a vast network of more than 100 miles of cross country skiing and mountain biking trails. There is no pool here but picnic tables and barbeque grills are available, as is a free daily breakfast and evening reception with complimentary drinks for mom and dad, and the guest laundry is free to use. The best room option for families at the Staybridge is the one-bedroom suite with two queens and separate living room with pull out sofa sleeper. The suite features a full kitchen with full sized refrigerator and ice maker, stovetop, toaster, microwave, dishwasher and all pots and pans, plus a flat-screen HDTV with cable and a DVD player.

Great hotel, clean with underground parking

by Docaluci

We absolutely loved our stay at the Staybridge. New to us and from the looks of things, New to the area. The Hotel was very clean and the full breakfast was well laid out and plenty to offer. Make your own waffles, oatmeal, bacon, eggs, french toast, cereals, juices etc... We didn't use the workout room since Marquette is all about getting out and hiking, walking, exploring so we got a pretty substantial workout climbing waterfalls, and Sugar Loaf mountain. The 2 levels of underground parking were awesome, and would come in very handy in winter or rainy weather.
Our room was spacious, clean and the kitchen area fully stocked so if it wasn't for the abundance of awesome restaurants in town, we could have made full meals right in our room. It doesn't have a pool or hottub but that's ok. If needed we could have filled the large tub with hot water for a soak.
We will certainly stay here again on our next visit to Marquette. I will also be quick to find a Staybridge for our next trip to wherever!!! Oh, i almost forgot, the bed was very comfortable so we slept very well!

Do not stay in room 130

by V4249VEmarkd

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while visiting Marquette area for fall colors. Great location and facilities. Breakfast was nice with numerous choices. The issue we had was the layout of the room. No area to unpack your suitcase. My wife placed hers on the kitchen counter
The bathroom was cramped. Entering and using the toilet was difficult. See pics
We would stay again but not in room 130
