One of the best perks of the Staybridge Suites is that each unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen, featuring a stove, microwave oven, toaster, full refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the cooking equipment, serving dishes, and utensils you need to enjoy a nice meal in. (The only downside is that there is no oven, so don’t plan to do any baking.) Wireless internet is available in each room.
Head downstairs in the morning to fill up at the free breakfast buffet, which includes a waffles station, oatmeal bar, eggs, toast, meat, yogurt, and more — a good selection for a hotel breakfast. Tuesday through Thursday adds on an evening “Sundowner” reception where you can enjoy a free hot entree, salad bar, and beverage. Finally, the amenity the kids will be looking for — yes, the hotel features an indoor pool! Parents, you’ll be equally enthused about the hot tub. Onsite pools are a somewhat rare find in Portland, so this is definitely a favorite.
