Columbia is a bustling college town that centers on the University of Missouri. At the lobby entrance, families are greeted by animal statues holding “welcome” signs. Stoney Creek sits on the city’s south side, offering 180 rooms with fireplaces and themed decors. Families choose from a variety of rooms, suites and cottages. Rooms typically contain wood furnishings, coffee makers, microwaves and refrigerators. Suites offer additional space with living rooms and kitchenettes. Theme suites create a log cabin ambience with stone fireplaces and oversized bathrooms. Children under age 18 stay for free with parents. Also at Stoney Creek, a community hot breakfast is served daily. Of course, the only feature kids will care about is the Wilderness Park pool area. This area contains an indoor/outdoor heated pool, patio lounges, a whirlpool spa, a sauna and a video game room. Kids can spend hours swimming between the outdoor and indoor pool divisions.

We came for a 2 week stay working 15 hour days. Very pleasant and clean with friendly service. Didn't have time to finish laundry before work so they did for me and out back in room for no extra charge to help me out. Not many would do that.
Used to live in Columbia.. So familiar with the hotel but had never stayed.. Did a hotwire deal last minute..just there 1 night. I must say WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE! The staff was super friendly..room spotless and smelled brand new. Breakfast was perfect! Did a late check out. Top things.. Bathtub..which I feel like i rarely see in hotels anymore, super clean rooms..and staff..over the top friendly..especially the cleaning people in the halls.
