Overview

The aptly named Summer Island Maldives is one of the few places in the world where summer really doesn’t ever end. A variety of accommodations is available, some are over the water and some are beachside. No matter which option guests choose, they will enjoy sweeping ocean views and a host of amenities. Each villa features a flat screen television, iPod docking station, minibar, modern bathroom with Jacuzzi, and bedroom slippers. Four gourmet restaurants serve a variety of Thai food and internationally inspired meals. Room service is also available at the all-inclusive resort. The onsite water sports facility provides diving instruction, snorkeling gear, canoes, paddle boards, jet skis, and catamarans.

Fantastic honeymoon

We had a wonderful honeymoon on Summer Island.
We were warmly welcomed by Idhuhas on the jetty. We could completely forget the stress from Germany at this place.
The beach, the room, the bar, the food and so on were just great. We felt at home from the first minute. The staff tried everything to make us feel good. Such a great and organized staff we have never seen .. just great.
It's like in paradise.
Our special thanks go to Idhuhas. He works at the reception and has tried everything every day to make us feel good. He is at work with his heart and soul and you realize that he loves this island. Thank you for everything!

Really good value

A lovely small island, clear water protected swimming, like swimming in an aquarium. Very helpful and friendly staff, and comfortable, air-conditioned ‘premium bungalow’ right on the beach. Enough activities for quiet break with snorkelling trips daily. Food was extensive at each of the 3 meals, great choices and variety, modified local and western, hot and cold dishes. Full board upgrade at the end of the low season made this a very good value holiday. Only not 5 grade as very noisy disco went on until 00.45 one night at the other side of the island, disturbing sleep even though 5 minute walk away
