My husband & I booked two nights at Sundance just after the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend! I can’t say enough about this ranch! The management is friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They care deeply for the safety and well being of the horses, riders and guests alike.
Our Buffalo King size room was lovely and with a small upgrade cost to secure this wonderful room, it’s worth it! There are two large windows in the unit that look out to the huge pasture where the horses graze at the end of their days until the next morning! It’s a perfect vantage point to watch both the “Jingle in” and “Jingle” out if you chose to watch from the comfort of your room.
The meals are excellent and on this particular week of the season, with so few guests between the two very busy weekends, the meals are almost made to order!
The 2 1/2 rides are fantastic! The horses are well cared for, responsive and eager to run! The wranglers?! Incredible! They are super friendly, fun-loving, great conversationalists and offer up some good Aussie or British humour as many of them come to Sundance on working visas! They totally support the philosophy of the owners-give the guests the best experience that can be served up! Thank you Laura, Sam, Georgie & Tegan for my great rides!
I look forward to next season when I will return for my fifth year! Thank you Cynthia, Taylor, Boomer, Dozer, Shannon, the wranglers (some who are returning for another year and to those who have moved on) and all the other staff members who add to the magic of this ranch!
