It’s a bit of a step back in time and I liked that. I liked that it was unique and I thought of the Newhart inn several times. I realized I’d never stayed at an ‘inn’ before.
The rooms are nice. I really liked the shared space. You can keep your items in the kitchen fridge.
The sunsets were beautiful. Quiet location.
The staff was very helpful, friendly and professional.
I would stay again
This place is structured like hotels were 30 to 40 years ago. There are no TVs in any of the rooms and the WIFI was spotty the farther away you were from the common rooms. But the place was very clean and quite, the staff was great and very helpful, and there were nice big common rooms to hang out in. the view over the lake was great and it was close to most of the restaurants and bars. my only complaint is that when i booked i thought i was getting free breakfast but when i arrived they had told me that they were only doing breakfast on the weekend.
