Pet-friendly rooms, cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request. Enjoy the beachfront pool with cabanas, a poolside bar and comfortable loungers. Surfing, boogie boarding and paddle boarding are available at the beach right outside the hotel. For family meals, head to the onsite restaurant, Splashes, which serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel also has an onsite fitness center, spa and business center.

This hotel is pathetic.

We arrived at 12:30 and they said they would rush housekeeping. At 3:30 they still hadn't finished making up the room. No apology, no offer of even a bottle of water while we waited. We booked four rooms for three nights and the hotel could care less about our satisfaction. When we finally got the room which was an Ocean Front room there was no air conditioning and the room was hot as hell. They said we should leave our door open for half an hour to get some air. I haven't been to a decent hotel in 30 years that doesn't have air conditioning. Clearly the management is not interested in guest service and the owners have not reinvested anything to improve an old worn out facility. If you have a choice you can do a lot better than Sand and Surf in Laguna. I'm sure there are plenty of better options of hotels that at least have air conditioning and care about service.

Best Hotel in the Area

This was my second stay at this hotel and it was as great of an experience as the first. The view was over the pool and ocean. I couldn't have been more pleased by sleeping to the sounds of the crashing Pacific ocean.
From check in to room service to restaurant staff, everyone was welcoming, professional and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.
