Chiefly designed to accommodate SCUBA divers, this resort offers many amenities for families as well. Each guestroom comes with a double or queen sized bed to accommodate up to two guests. The penthouse guestroom will delight guests because of its great view of the ocean. Diving is, of course, a major activity at this resort, but there’s also a pool and the beach is only a few minute walk away. Guests can find snorkeling, horseback riding, sailing, swimming, and hiking throughout the island. The onsite restaurant serves three meals for resort guests every day.

Tobri Divers - Mar 2019

by MikeM24108

This was my brother & my first experience with Tobri divers. It began with a friendly & helpful exchange of e-mails as we stayed at their facility. Kendall, the operator of Tobri divers has a long & strong background in managing diving & hotel facilities. We found him exceptional in fulfilling all of our requests. Got to meet Kendall’s family and several of staff and enjoyed spending non-dive time talking and enjoying their company. In spite of some recent storms that had much of the south side of the island “churned up” Tobri found us several good sites where we had outstanding dives. This is their first year as the new owners and they are off to a great running start which will only get better over time. Looking for diving the south side of Roatan Island? Start with Tobri divers!!! You’ll have a difficult time finding a better dive venue or a place to stay while diving. My brother & I will definitely be BACK!! BTW … hope you get to dive with Soguey … an exceptional dive master at Tobri!

Change of Pace!

We normally stay and dive on the West End of Roatan and have on occasion been sent to the south side to avoid bad winds and weather. This year we had a few days extra and decided to try staying at Tobri Divers. They made us a great deal and when we showed up took care of our bags and gave us a great welcome.
We did not pick the best time of year to stay on that side of the island as there were strong south winds with whitecaps. As I am getting older I don’t have to fill everyday with adventure, so we took the day off diving and just relaxed at the resort. That night Kendall, owner/manager, came to our room and asked if we wanted to go diving to the east side of the island with a group on one of their catamarans. Besides divers, they have two 50 foot catamarans they use for groups. This group was mostly snorkelers and was going to Port Royal. I’ve drove to that part of the island but not even close in a dive, so we eagerly accepted. The boat was great, and it took us over an hour to get there but even in the rough waves the catamaran was smooth sailing.
We did a very nice patch reef dive and some of the other divers speared Lionfish. Between dives there was fruit and snacks and then mover to a place close by. There was not as much coral here but we saw many things I’ve never saw before like a Mangrove Upsidedown Jellyfish (Cassiopea xamachana).
Back at the boat we had a great lunch and the trip back was very smooth. It could have been another day on nondiving but Kendall got us in. We did get some other dive in and they have a GREAT instructor/DM there. I’m sure she would do a great job in an Open Water Certification if anybody was interested.
The food at the resort was great as well and when it was time to head to the airport they took us.
Great place, good people!! Thank you Team Tobri!
