A gorgeous historical hotel

by Karen B

This hotel is stunning from an architectural perspective and everything is first class. The rooms are very well appointed with every amenity you could think of. All of the staff members are extremely helpful and friendly, both before and during our stay. The location is ideal for getting around as it is very centrally located. We took a bullet train and since the hotel is attached to the central Tokyo rail station we just needed to figure out which exit to use and head upstairs.

The most beautiful, hospitable hotel experience of my life

by PaulXTN

This was a relaxing, delightful stay, in the absolute heart of Tokyo, a short walk from the imperial palace, Ginza, and of course directly above Tokyo Station. My goal was to stay there for 1.5 days (two nights) to rest, work, and acclimate to the Japanese time zone prior to an important business meeting in northern Japan. Mission accomplished! The room was exquisitely furnished, with beautiful, highly variable lighting (something I particularly appreciate) the bed was very comfortable, and despite being near a street, their was absolute silence in the room due to the super insulated windows. The spa (an extra $18 or 2000 yen) was a highlight. A carbonated hot tub, with two other tubs of various temperatures, sauna, steam, and all meticulously clean and relaxing. A truly memorable stay, but at ~$500/night, obviously a splurge!
