My daughter and I visited Sarasota for the first time. We were so glad we decided to stay at the Tropical Beach Resorts instead of the downtown. The location was perfect. Front desk ladies were extremely nice and helpful. They gave us useful information on where to go and what to do. They were very accommodating.
Our room was very clean, nicely furnished and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals. There are multiple grocery stores in the area.
Coffee in the lobby was good. My daughter really enjoyed cookies, lemonade and candy, as well as checking out movies.
The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The beach was just a short stroll and is amazing! I went to the beach every morning and every evening. It was great to grab a cup of coffee and drink it at the beach first thing in the morning. It was nice to have beach chairs and towels.
We had a car and were able to drive around. Everything is very close. The location of the resort is very convenient. You don’t need a car because there is a free trolley on the island. You can take it to go to dinner, shops and other beaches. Having a car was nice though. Parking at the resort was not an issue since we had an assigned parking spot. We drove to Sarasota and had dinner at Cafe Baci. It’s an authentic Italian place that my daughter found. We enjoyed their early bird three course meal deal. Highly recommend it!
We had a great vacation and when it was time to leave, we didn’t want to go home. We will definitely return and stay at the Tropical Beach Resorts! Many thanks to all the staff for making our stay so comfortable and memorable!
My husband and I loved this place! It is so close to the beach as well as to some restaurants and shops on the island. The room was beautiful and very clean. The staff was so great as well. We ended up having to check in really late unexpectedly and when I called to let them know, they were super accommodating. When we finally arrived, we found that they had turned the lights on in our room for us. We hope to be back soon.
