Overview

Posh, posh, posh! The Trump focuses on luxurious hotel accommodations with no casino so families can enjoy Vegas as a destination outside of its gambling heritage. The towering hotel is located where the Strip meets Fashion Show Drive. It presents over 1,300 suites and Penthouse suites. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer gorgeous views of the Strip and mountainous backdrop. Furnishings are accented with dark woods, plush bedding and Italian marble bathrooms. Studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units are available. While all units have kitchenettes, suites also have separate bedrooms feature dining rooms and living areas with comfy sofas. The hotel offers service that is unique to Trump, like the “Trump Attache” — a personal butler who does personal shopping and will stock your refrigerator. Trump Kids is a program that makes children feel just as welcome as adults. Kids are provided with children’s books, board games, movies and toys. Even cribs are accessorized with plush linens worthy of a full-sized bed. A map of Las Vegas is marked with must-see spots for kids, too. DJT is an elegant restaurant at the hotel and H2(EAU) offers poolside ambience. In-room dining is offered and guests can even benefit from an in-room chef. The pool is a large outdoor rectangular pool with surrounding chaise lounges. Parents should also check out the Spa at Trump.

Great Quiet Location

by KJR10000

Lots of style expected from the Trump franchise. Fabulous bedroom with the most amazing bathroom. The fact that it had no Casino was a real bonus for us; it had a relatively small and intimate feel. Reason for not giving 5 star rating - the room was very noisy at night. We heard trains and cars throughout and had we not been jet lagged we would probably found it difficult to sleep. Also, one day the room wasn’t made up, a first in a hotel for us. The concierge reduced the resort fee for this but that was a relatively small gesture given the resort fee for us gave us no real benefit anyway. The real benefit to the hotel though is the location which is off the Strip and therefore we’ll away from the hustle and bustle of Vegas.

Not A Resort

I expected Trump to be nicer than the Venetian, but it was far from it. I felt like I was at a regular Hilton or Double Tree. My key card did not work. The room door is extremely heavy! I was unable to find the safe until the last day. It was in the bottom drawer below the TV. There were three drawers. My closet door was jammed/broken and the light was burnt out so I could not use it. The thing that frustrated me the most was waking up startled with banging on my window!!! I woke up from a deep sleep thinking someone is breaking in! It was two guys on a scaffold washing the windows. The wind was so bad, the scaffold kept slamming against the window. They were out there all three days during my stay so I never could open my curtains. I had no privacy to get dressed. This should have been mentioned upon check in. I emailed the manager and after one week, still no reply! I will not be staying here again!!!!
