Reviews

Not as expected

The location is good, across the US Embassy and two blocks fro the sea. It is not a typical hotel, since you enter into a bar/ cafeteria to take the eleveator for the second floor where the rooms are located. The room was relatively small, with cheap laminate floor and no window. I do not know why I was given a room for disabled people (apparently the last one), but besides the good size of the bathroom, the shower was not convinient (no hanger for the shower). Receptionist was friendly and the breakfast very good.

Ultra Pokey with no window

I stayed here for three nights on a business trip to Tel Aviv. To be honest the rooms are boring, my room also had no window so as well as boring it was depressing. The breakfast was OK and the staff, cleaners, receptionist were all polite every day. The photos are deceptive and it looks more like a nightclub than a hotel in the photos but my room was no night club. It's also expensive for a small room with no mini bar, no atmosphere and a water system that sounds like a fighter jet when your in the shower or flush the toilet. The person next door to me clearly spent a lot of time sat on it because every 20 minutes it woke me up. Not quite boutique. I will be staying at the Carlton Hotel again next time.
