Overview

With sand and hammocks in the front “yard” of your villa, just a few short steps from the Caribbean Sea, staying at this boutique hotel is like staying in a Mexican hideaway. This rustic chic hotel is directly on the sand and while the villas are small, the beach is massive.

There are no televisions in the rooms, but there is free Wi-Fi, of course. When you stay here, you will want to stare at the sea, not a screen. Families can rent bicycles from the hotel and pedal around Tulum (which is faster than waiting in traffic sometimes) or visit the Tulum Ruins, which can be seen from the beach and are about a mile away from the hotel. The onsite restaurant keeps meals casual and easy for families, and the Beach Club service makes it so you never have to leave the sand.

Room Information

Find the Best Price for Your Stay

There are 18 villas at this boutique beach hotel with garden views, partial ocean views and oceanfront. Most of the villas accommodate two people, but there are a few that can accommodate three or four people. Rollaway beds and cribs are available upon request. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all of the rooms, along with a canister of purified water that is refreshed daily.

Villas

The beach villas feature one king or two double beds situated under a mosquito net. There is a stocked mini-fridge. Guests are welcome to use the mini-fridge for their own snacks, but the provided beverages and snacks are an additional cost. Complimentary water is provided daily. There is a standup shower in the bathroom and no television.

The villa's terrace features two chairs and overlooks a small sand-covered front "lawn" with a hammock. There is a convenient bucket of water at the entrance to each villa, as well, so sandy feet don't have to track in sand to the room. Since this is an eco-friendly hotel, air conditioning is provided to each villa from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. to save energy, but more time can be requested if needed.

Master Suite

The Master Suite is two villas that are connected. One side features a king bed and a bathroom and the other side features two double beds and a second bathroom. There is a couch in the living room area and a small table for two. A beautiful ocean view is visible from the large terrace area, too.

Five Star Paradise

by Groundsy16

My wife and family stayed at Pescadores for a week at the end of October 2019. What a wonderful holiday. Everything about the style and ambience is perfect. Cosy cabanas, wonderful food from both restaurant and beach bar, friendly professional staff from Antonio on the front desk on arrival to every waiter, cleaned or security guard. The beach is glorious and with a lovely walk in both directions - one taking you to the historical Tulum ruins. Also great to see all the efforts to minimise environmental impact and protect the coastline. Will live long in our memories. Thank you.

Family Activities

Beach Club

Your villa is literally on the sand so just walk a few more feet and you will arrive at the hotel's Beach Club. There is a beach bed dedicated for each villa so you will always have one available; there is no need to race down early in the morning to save your chair. Lounge chairs and umbrellas for guests also fill the beach area.

Look to the left down the beach and you can spot the Tulum Ruins in the distance. Water sports like boating, fishing and snorkeling are available onsite at the beach, but are not associated with the hotel directly.

It is a public beach and the general public is welcome to enjoy the Beach Club amenities, but guests always take priority. Beachside service is available and beach towels are provided. There is a lifeguard onsite. Showers for rinsing off sand are located by the beach, but restrooms are located a bit further away by the reception area. Beach towels are provided.

Beach Movies

One night a week, the hotel shows a movie on the beach. Get cozy on a beach bed and watch a family-friendly movie under the stars with the sound of the sea behind you. Nachos and chicken wings and other snacks are served as well.

Bicycle Rentals

Everyone bikes around Tulum. So, rent your own bicycle from the hotel and pedal around town to explore!

Family Dining

Restaurant

The onsite, open-air restaurant is located by the reception area at the front of the hotel and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Only organic, local and the freshest food (fish caught daily in front of the hotel, fresh!) is served at the restaurant. The restaurant is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the bar remains open until 11 p.m.

Morning Coffee

Guests will love to have their morning coffee and a pastry delivered directly to each villa terrace each morning. This is a complimentary service and is an excellent way to start each morning.

Beach Club

The Beach Club features full beachside service to guests and the general public who are enjoying the hotel's amenities at the public beach. The Beach Club is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and features a different menu than the onsite restaurant. However, seafood is oftentimes on the menu, with fresh fish caught that day in front of the hotel.

Getting There

Cancun International Airport is located about 90 minutes away from the hotel. The hotel can provide airport transportation for an additional cost.

Getting Around

Traffic around Tulum's hotel zone can be congested, so biking or walking is the fastest way to get around. Sand covers most of the hotel property so pushing a stroller through the sand could prove difficult.

For Mom and Dad

Grab a cocktail, hop in a hammock, stare up at the blue sky and palm trees and let the sound of the sea instantly wash relaxation over you!
