Watch out for billing errors!!!

by Colorado1984

Double charged for 1 night of my stay. I pre-paid for a 2 night stay then was charged again after checking out. The property acknowledged there was a billing error when I contacted them and told me I'd receive a refund for the erroneous charge within 10 days. This never happened. Now having to dispute the charge through my credit card issuer to get a refund. Check your credit card bills after checking out!!!!

Spur of the moment trip

After arriving in CO for my daughter's Colorado College Block Break, we decided to head for Breckenridge. We found an Airbnb, "reserved", and drove to Breck, arriving around 7:30 pm and had dinner. Still no confirmation after 5 1/2 hours, so we started searching hotels/lodging in Breck. The sofaVillage looked great, so we called and thankfully they had a studio room for 2 nights. It was beautiful. Looked newly refurbished; western mountain style with a leather sleeper sofa, chair, and lightweight coffee table, faux wall paint, granite countertops, 2 counter stools, stove/oven,microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, alder cabinets and doors, well supplied with dishes, pots, pans, if you want to cook. Comfy queen size bed. My daughter slept on the sleeper sofa and said it was good. Bathroom had separate tub/shower room with exhaust fan, separate toilet room with fan, and a double sink vanity area with a door. Staff were GREAT - Mallory gave us hiking recommendations (Mohawk Lake and McCullough Gulch - go hike these..fabulous!!). We asked for late check-out on Saturday morning (check-out is 11) but they were totally booked for that night. They gave us access to pool, hot tubs, fitness center and showers for the day. Put our bags in the car (parking lot was included in room fee) and had continued free parking until noon. Enjoyed the hot tub to relieve the sore hiking muscles from the day before and prepare for more hiking later in the afternoon!
