The Voyager Inn is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of Anchorage, across the street from sister hotel the Captain Cook, which provides complimentary athletic club, indoor lap pool, Jacuzzi and more for Voyager guests. The rooms at the Voyager are spacious and offer many creature comforts of home like a toaster, microwave and refrigerator, along with filtered water. They also feature floor-to-ceiling windows for clear views of the city, the water and, if you request top floor accommodations, a great sunset view. Kids will love the free hot breakfast every morning and mom and dad will want to know about the free beer and wine available in the lobby during evening receptions.
Whether you are coming or going from an Alaskan cruise, finishing up a family hike or just visiting Anchorage, the Voyager Inn is a quaint hotel sure to please everyone.

The Voyager is priced right for travelers, features multiple amenities that are delightful - wine at happy hour in evenings, hot breakfast, helpful front desk, huge rooms, etc. Right downtown, it is near everything, and the staff is beyond helpful. Parking offers discount rates directly across the street and couldn't be easier.
We probably paid over the top as there is no doubt that you pay a premium for Anchorage accommodation on the night before a cruise departs! However you really don't have a lot of choice! Having said that the accommodation was fine, you need to go elsewhere for meals but the location is excellent, it is right in the heart of town and easy walking distance (even with luggage) to the cruise bus transfer to Seward.
