Excellent and Affordable

by Firplace

The Voyager is priced right for travelers, features multiple amenities that are delightful - wine at happy hour in evenings, hot breakfast, helpful front desk, huge rooms, etc. Right downtown, it is near everything, and the staff is beyond helpful. Parking offers discount rates directly across the street and couldn't be easier.

Expensive, but well located

We probably paid over the top as there is no doubt that you pay a premium for Anchorage accommodation on the night before a cruise departs! However you really don't have a lot of choice! Having said that the accommodation was fine, you need to go elsewhere for meals but the location is excellent, it is right in the heart of town and easy walking distance (even with luggage) to the cruise bus transfer to Seward.
