Avoid this poor hotel

by British123x

This hotel is disappointing from the moment you arrive. One person at reception - so check in is painfully slow. Stress - painfully slow. Guest relations can’t help with restaurant bookings - as it’s the responsibility of a different department- which they have to call - who aren’t available. The service in the bar is slow - and the beach bar is not available...as there’s a function there...which is untrue...it’s just unstaffed. The breakfast is really poor. Little choice and to typify the Westin Turtle Bay experience the orange juice is from a packet. This is a second rate hotel and is to be avoided.

Lovely staff and wonderful staff

We stayed there for 10 amazing days (Sep 2018).

The hotel is situated in a quiet areas. Fantastic layout and lots of green spaces. The trees are lovely.

Food is incredible in all the restaurants. You can't stop once you start! The chefs are often seen going round the buffet to ensure quality. Everything was available and choice is great.

Facilities are wonderful. The pool are clean and there is plenty of chairs. Service was 5 stars.

The hotel staff were generally polite, helpful and accommodating. They always go the extra mile to help you have an excellent stay.

Activities (boats, diving, sailing, etc) are all free if going all inclusive. Plenty to do and helpful staff. We also went on a guided bike ride to Trou aux Biches and back. Dont miss. Lovely guides and very helpful.

The only drawback I would say is in some big wedding parties. They have the potential to ruin your stay by the amount of noise they generate not at the ceremony but in the leading up and aftermath. Drunken men and women can be loud and rude. We had a party staying around our room. I think the hotel needs to be stricter with noise levels. There were 3 parties during our stay and I must say one of them was terrible. The other 2 were confined to their party halls.

All in all, lovely hotel, idyllic location and amazing staff.
