With some of the lowest room rates in the area, the WoodSpring Suites is ideal for a family looking to save money without sacrificing clean and comfortable accommodations. You have a choice of three different suite styles, including one with two full beds and extra space for a crib or rollaway. Every suite features a full kitchen with stovetop, microwave, dishes, utensils, and full-sized refrigerator/freezer. The 24-hour laundry facilities ensure clean clothes for all after a day on the beach. There’s no free breakfast or pool, which is a big reason why the rates are so low.
You’ll find plenty of shops and restaurants in the area to enjoy a good breakfast. Many of Corpus Christi’s top attractions are only a short drive from the WoodSpring Suites. Your hotel has easy access to the main highway that runs through town to the coast, so a drive to the popular North Beach takes about 10 minutes. There, you can spend the day on the beach, touring a WWII aircraft carrier, or learning about sea life at the Texas State Aquarium. Even closer to your hotel is the Suter Wildlife Refuge, which has an easy kid-friendly nature trail leading to great views of the bay and a variety of sea birds. The famed Padre Island National Seashore is just about 20 minutes down the highway, where you can enjoy the beaches, dunes, and coastal prairie. Your kids will want to spend quality time with the wave pools, water slides, and lazy river at the new Schlitterbahn Water Park on Padre Island. With its convenient location and budget room rates, the WoodSpring Suites makes a great base of operations for your family trip to Corpus Christi.

This is definitely just a basic place to stay. No frills. However, our room was very clean and the front desk staff were very friendly. We arrived at the same time as most of the guests so they were extremely busy and handled each one of us with kindness and good service. If you don't mind a basic room, no breakfast, and no other frills, you won't mind it. WIFI is free is you are only staying for a few days.

Though I wouldn't want to stay here long term, it was good for a place to stay during a conference. It's basically a Motel 6 with a kitchenette - the bear necessities. The full size fridge and stove top were handy, lots of cupboard space. The staff was really helpful and friendly.
