Overview

Tucked away from the hustle-and-bustle of Richmond in a West End community called Glen Allen is the elegant and estate-like Wyndham Virginia Crossings Hotel. Sitting on 20 beautiful acres, this colonial-style hotel is wreathed in manicured lawns and boasts a country club resort ambiance that is so pretty many weddings have taken place here. Yes, the property is off the beaten path but no need for concern — the Wyndham is a mere 16 minutes from downtown Richmond and 20-minutes from the Richmond airport.

The hotel is comprised of three buildings, each named after a famous Virginia President: Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe Halls. The property offers two dining spots: The Glen Restaurant where a lavish breakfast buffet happens every morning, and The Tavern & Grill, where guests can pick up lunch or dinner. The grill’s outdoor patio sports more of that country club-feel with beautiful tables, umbrellas, and a fire pit, all overlooking the beautiful pool, whirlpool and more seemingly endless green spaces. The property also has both a volleyball sandpit, basketball court and large fitness room, all kept in pristine condition. The property shoulders a stunning 18-hole golf course.

The Wyndham has 183 guestrooms each with a flat-screen, a mini-fridge, an iPod-friendly clock radio, data ports, and free Wi-Fi.

Great location for meetings and/or events

by C_Brina

It has been about 4 years since I stayed at Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center. I was very pleased to see that the gym was moved into the same building as the guest rooms as well as bigger than the dungeon that was the gym previously. Rooms remain very comfortable and the showers have great water pressure. Only issues I had was with the food buffet service. As a gluten free eater, there was two days in a row where items were marked gluten free when it was clear they were not gluten free. The hotel staff however worked to rectify by providing food for me from the kitchen rather than the buffet.

Excellent Facility!

Excellent facility with excellent service! The meeting room was well set up as was the social and food items. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bathrooms were nice and roomy with lots of space to spread out.
