About Golden Nugget Hotel
The Golden Nugget is located two blocks from the Strip in downtown Las Vegas. One of the most historical Vegas hotels, guests can exit right into the Fremont Street Experience -- one of the most family-friendly attractions in town. The hotel exudes a swanky old-school charm with brass accents, marble floors and dangling chandeliers. Guests can stay in the Rush Tower, The Carson Tower or the Gold Tower. All units are modern and stylish with upgraded amenities. The Gold Tower offers the most up-to-date decor with pillow-top mattresses, down pillows and bathrobes. In general, rooms and suites feature semi-canopy beds, high-speed Internet access (fee), television armoires and separate vanity areas with magnified mirrors. Parlor suites feature living rooms with flat-screen televisions and separate bedrooms.
A whopping eight restaurants are at the hotel, allowing families to eat almost anything their hearts desire. Guests can find Asian, Italian and, of course, American food. Families may prefer the steakhouse setting of Vic & Anthony's or the more casual Carson Street Cafe.
The Tank is a heated outdoor pool surrounds a 20,000-gallon live shark aquarium, giving off the surreal feeling of swimming with the sharks. A three-story waterslide, separated by glass, goes right through the tank! Private cabanas surround the pool. An arcade features all sorts of games, ranging from pinball to air hockey to motorcycle racing. For parents, an onsite spa offers beauty treatments and massage.
