We rented a motorhome from Cruise America, pricy but nice. The motorhome was 25' 2011 model with about 8000 miles. We took our 120# German Shepherd, and there was plenty of room for him, besides my husband and 11-year old son.

We more +stayed 4 nights at the Madison Arm Resort which I highly recommend. The resort is on a lake with boat rentals. They have free showers which were kept pretty clean. They also have laundry facilities and a very small general store. We only spent one day driving through Yellowstone, which was a fantastic day, we saw no bears, but lots of other wildlife. The rest of the time was just relaxing at the resort.

My son rode his bike, made some friends and swam in the swimming area of the lake. We fished and also rented a paddle boat to do some fishing in the lake. The road getting to the resort was a dirt road in terrible shape, not too great for a motorhome or camp trailer. The internet was very controlled by the office. There were too many restricts on its use, when it worked, which was not too often. I had expected to be able to access my facebook and post pictures of our time away. No facebook allowed. I was lucky to even be able to check my email. I also wanted to be able to research other places to see on the way home and make reservations at other campsites. That wasn't happening either. Overall we were pleased with the stay.
