This Marriott is located in downtown Providence and offers free parking. The area holds many of the top New England colleges, historical sites and restaurants. An indoor/outdoor pool will attract the little ones, while parents may want to visit the G. Salon full-service spa. Babysitting services are available at the hotel and pets are allowed with a sanitation fee. Rhode Island POOL of design is a poolside art program for children every weekend morning. Nearby, families can visit the Providence Children’s Museum, the Roger Williams Zoo and the IMAX Movie Theater. A couple upscale restaurants are at this Marriott. AQUA is a lunch and dinner bistro with a pool theme, while Bluefin Grille serves fresh local seafood and an extensive breakfast buffet.

Providence Marriott review

We came on our anniversary. Very helpful front desk manager Pamela Halloway gave us great suggestions—great food, bars, and local quaint sights.

Enjoyed Henningways—yes that’s the spelling—seafood restaurant; Roger Williams park and botanical gardens; and cute shops and pubs on Wickenden St.

Hotel itself is clean and stylish. Attractive rooms, fun pool, and good bar.

Good food and great service

I recently dined at the Marriott bluefin grille and I must say the food was exceptional. The salmon I had was very fresh and one of the best I’ve had in a while. My server Yissell did a great job taking care of me. She went above and beyond for me because I am an extremely picky eater. She accommodated all of my conditions and I will definitely be back again soon.
