The National Park Foundation launches its “Every Kid in a Park” initiative today, providing free access to national parks, historic sites, national monuments and more for every 4th grader in the country and their families.

The Every Kid in a Park pass was launched this year by the Obama Administration and is available starting today and is good for kids in the 4th grade and their families for the 2015-2016 school year. The passes will be good for free admission into national parks through August 31, 2016. In order to receive a pass, children have to participate in a “diary” and education activities online, receiving a printable pass upon completition.
