One of the most-visited national parks in the U.S., Yosemite National Park, will welcome its first new resort in more than 25 years. The new Rush Creek Lodge is expected to open in the spring of 2016, as the National Park Service celebrates its 100th anniversary.

The new 143-room resort will be set less than a mile from Yosemite’s Highway 120 West entrance. Set on 20 wooded acres, the resort will offer families options of rooms, suites and two-bedroom villas on its hillside location. Rush Creek Lodge will feature onsite dining, a heated salt water pool, game room, indoor and outdoor lounge areas, guided recreation programs, daily on-site activities, a gold panning stream, a fly-casting pond, a general store, and wellness programs.

The new resort is the sister property of the historic Evergreen Lodge, which is also nested into the woodlands near Yosemite National Park.
