This hotel does not sit directly on the beach, but it's located about one mile from Catalina Island, one mile from the Aquarium of the Pacific and one mile from the nearest beaches. The 469 guest rooms at the Westin Long Beach include amenities like 24-hour room service, iron, coffee and tea maker, in-room movies and video games, and more. In-room high-speed Internet access is available for a fee. You won't find giant water slides or character dining at the Westin Long Beach, but the hotel does offer a children's program, the Westin Kids Club. Also, there is an outdoor heated pool, which is open seasonally.

We stayed at the Westin Long Beach for one night before boarding Carnival Splendor. The hotel is located across the street from the Long Beach Convention Center.
