Overview

As its name implies, this Crown Plaza is located in the heart of London and near some of the city’s most popular attractions, including the London Eye. The hotel recently refurbished its 205 guest rooms and suites, providing complimentary Wi-Fi to all guests. Onsite dining is available for lunch and dinner at Diciannove, as well as Chinese Cricket Club, with a City Lounge open for breakfast through dinner. Guests will find rooms outfitted with either a king or two double beds.

Well located , efficient and comfortable hotel

We stayed for 5 nights. It is well located - the tube is adjacent. St Paul's is a short walk away.

The room was a little larger than the standard London hotel room. It was very comfortable, soundproof and well equipped. Nothing to fault.

We had access to the lounge which provided a good continental breakfast as well as drinks and snacks in the evenings.

The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. We ate at the restaurants - the Italian on the ground floor was excellent - the Chinese Cricket Club - good without having any wow.

Overall, an excellent stay and one where I would be happy to return.

The City!

Loved everything about this hotel. Firstly my IHG Platinum Status was acknowledged as I was given an upgrade to a Club Room with access to the Executive Lounge.
The Lounge was well stocked with refreshments and there was also a drinks and canapes service as well as free continental breakfast in the morning. I think this is the biggest CP Lounge in the UK that I have seen. Bed was very, very comfortable!
My room was clean and fresh and had a king size bed. It was well stocked with tea an cofee and hot chocolate. The coffee was roasted and in a french press.
Room was also well furnished.
Overall the hotel had a really classy ambience, particularly the lounge opposite the check-in desk. Quite Victorian...somewhat!
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is literally in the heart of London and central to everywhere.
Will definitely consider staying here in future.
