New 3D Books Inspire Travel for Kids

A set of keepsake books has been published to inspire an interest in foreign destinations and travel in children. The “Step Inside” series of books a destination pop-up books, allowing kids to explore cities and sites in 3D.

The panorama popups fit in a hardcover slipcase and when opened stretch to nearly 5 feet. Destinations include New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., in the U.S., and foreign cities such as London, Paris, Venice and Rio de Janeiro. Even famous museums are included, with Paris’ Louvre and New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art illustrated.

The books are published by children’s publishing house, Candlewick Press, and retail for $8.99. The series is for ages 5 and older.
