Not Up to Par

by Wrscpp

Room has definitely seen better days. “Easy chair” was like an oak kitchen chair with a padded seat. There was a knob missing from the dresser with the business end of a screw sticking out, and there was paint peeling in the bathroom. Breakfast was decent, hot and cold items. DO NOT prepay online if there’s a chance your plans will change, they do not refund any unused portion.

Stay away from this property!

It was a busy weekend and the hotels where mostly booked in the area. The room with members discount was $300!!!!!! I have never had such a bad experience and i have stayed in the motels where we paid $29 per night! I was traveling with 5y/o we arrived late, so was not able to leave and look for another place. There was construction in the front of the entry, it was hard to find how to get to the front door, very poor lighting, no signs. The lobby and hallways smelled like cigarette smoke hard to believe that the hotel is nonsmoking. The room itself was very smelly but not cigarette smoke. I have a feeling the room was not ready for the guests but they gave it to us anyways. It was stains on the carpet and the room was not vacuumed, dust on the surfaces, the sheets on one bed had blood stains on them. They didn’t have housekeeping on staff, around 9pm. Front desk lady brought another set of sheets and have changed the bed. It took about 30min. There was hair in the bathtub and blood looking stains under the toilet bowl. Bedding and furniture old and run down. Wouldn't stay there even if the good housekeeper would clean a room. They did provide breakfast but with such a poor cleanliness in the room we wanted to leave as soon as possible. I am looking in a ways to report this hotel to some kind of health department.
