I bought the cancellation insurance because I wanted to take my grandchildren 3 & 5. They are sick, vomiting and fever. Spoke to Lori and her "manager" who refused to cancel w/o losing my deposit of $137. This is horrible customer service. Preschool age children get sick! Ive always insured my trips and have never had problems with emergency cancellations. I will be forced to take them!! Poor customer service and no consideration for their other guests!

We booked a stay here for a 6 year olds birthday - none of the adults were expecting much, but we enjoyed the stay. However - we were there on a Thursday night and it was still very crowded - we all agreed that we would avoid like the plague on a weekend. We really enjoyed the Barnwood restaurant and bar area (great happy hour). As long as you ask for a plastic cup, you can wander through the property with your cocktail. If you are there for a birthday, be sure to mention it at check-in - the wolf ears have a birthday hat on top! The "online check in" is a total waste of time - you still have to go stand in line. They have 2 separate lines for the online and not checked in - just go to the shortest line.
