Set among the rainforest and flawless beaches of Costa Rica, the Allegro Papagayo is a traveler’s paradise. This all-inclusive resort offers never-ending fun with a variety of activities from snorkeling to boating tours and beach soccer. Supervised children’s activities are available, so mom and dad can have some alone time to relax on the beach or grab a bite to eat.
The resort accommodations are dotted along the hillside with colorful Spanish-style architecture making up each of the three-story buildings. Each guestroom provides a private balcony or terrace, a mini-fridge, coffee maker and cribs and extra bedding upon request.

A really neat resort. Secluded enough so that a short stroll down the stunning beach makes you feel that you are the only people there.
Some on our break complained that the beach was black... Well hey its volcanic and beautiful. Others complained about the resort being Hilly, well it is but it is on the edge of a peninsula... I thought it was amazing and because it is relatively small you really can walk around it easily.
This is a very average resort and we did not stay at the resort for even a full day as we were on excursions deep sea fishing, Monteverde Cloud Forest, Arenal. The people were very nice and we loved Costa rica and have recommend it to many of our friends.
