Rude Staff/Fake CC Charges

by kelseyg7

I would AVOID. I have never met a hotel that has such terrible customer service (especially to their Platinum Elite members)
I stayed there October 16-17, and everything was great until I noticed a charge on my company card while doing my expense report. I called to ask why and they said it was a “pillow charge” and they would get back with me. After no one got back, I called again..same response....and again...So I called back to speak with a manager this time, and the girl took the charge off prior to me speaking with a manager, and sent over a new receipt.
As I’m looking it over....I noticed the notes on my folio...GUEST DID TAKE PILLOW. Wow.
I am honestly shocked and a little blown away by the boldness of this hotel staff. If you’ve stayed there I highly encourage checking CC to make sure you weren’t charged as well.

My #1 issue is how this situation was handled by hotel staff and management.
AND. If I was going to spend $80 on a pillow, It wouldn’t be a used hotel pillow.
And...I wouldn’t put it on my COMPANY CREDIT CARD that I have to turn in expenses for.

Stay at your own risk, and remember to check your CC after check out????

I will stay a Marriott member for now. I just won’t be returning my business to this hotel.

Happy travels. ????

Beautiful rooms, unique Marriott, but pricey for Wichita

by Rhino5858

This hotel was a beautiful change from the ordinary Marriott. The decor is modern glam the restaurant Sienna was delicious with quality ingredients.
I did not use any facilities like the gym, but the room was gorgeous. I had a top floor room. It was quiet and huge, spotless and the decor was elegant and modern. There was a cool bar cart and top notch furnishings. Lobby nice, but small. Nice service. Quiet room and comfy bed.
I would stay here again save the price point. It was $290 w tax. A steal for San Fran or NYC, but most of the big 5 companies won't let their employees stay here because everything else is around half that price. They are the nicest hotel by far in the area and perhaps they are busy enough with higher end clientele. But so many people know about it and would stay here (even execs from top local companies) but their companies don't allow it.
Overall, highly recommend as a breath of fresh air. Huge step above the other very mediocre Marriotts and Drury in town.
Well done!
