The wider than normal rooms and full kitchens are a big draw for families at this extended stay hotel. Suites include either one queen bed or two, plus room for a crib or rollaway. The kitchens are great for preparing any meal, and include a full-size refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, kitchen sink, toaster, coffeemake, and a range of pots, pans, dishes and utensils. You can stock up on food at either of the two large grocery stores across the street from the hotel. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, free coffee, laundry service, fitness center and DVD player.
There’s no free breakfast here, but the hotel is within walking distance of several grocery stores. Not in the mood to cook? Stroll 50 feet to the fast food restaurant next to the hotel for breakfast. There are many other dining options up and down the highway to please the pickiest of eaters. Three miles from your hotel is the Kenai Beach, where the river flows into the waters of Cook Inlet. It’s a great place for kids to go beachcombing and pick up agates and shells. The sunset views here are spectacular, with one of Alaska’s most active volcanoes, Mount Redoubt, looming in the distance. If you’re here to fish, you’ll find plenty of charters in the area to help you catch salmon and halibut. Or you can take a whale watching tour to view Beluga Whales in the Cook Inlet. There is no shortage of amazing outdoor opportunities on the Kenai Peninsula, all easily accessible from your hotel. The Aspen Extended Stay Suites is a great choice for your family vacation in Alaska.

When the Swan Lake Fire stranded hundreds, maybe thousands, of folks on August 18, 2019, we headed back to Kenai and felt we were fortunate to find refuge at Aspen Extended Stay Suites. Clean room that was well appointed and comfortable. Additionally, the staff went out of their way to accommodate everyone.
The following day, when the reopening of the highway was in doubt, we booked the room for another night, as it happened, the road reopened and we weren't charged a dime for our extended stay. What consideration!
Thanks to the staff and management for turning a difficult day into a pleasant experience.
These are the great things about this hotel: comfortable bed, large, user-friendly bathroom, SIX washing machines, SIX dryers, decaf., regular & hot water available 6 AM - 10PM, kitchen with full size refrigerator and two burners and fully equipped with silverware, dishes and 2 pots with lids,
Very accommodating- absolutely no complaints....
