This beautiful three-star property soars eight stories up offering a total of 342 rooms and seven suites. The Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center is super close to two fabulous malls (Phipps has LEGOLAND Discovery Center), and boasts upscale rooms and fabulous service.
Guestrooms offer a king or two double beds and several feature balconies, bathrobes and pullout sofas. All rooms have flat-screens, desks and coffee makers. Suites are spacious and include an executive and a Presidential suite. Rooms don’t come with a mini-fridge or microwave, but both can be requested (at no charge). Three floors offer a concierge room Monday through Friday (closing at noon on Friday) and Sunday. Small plates in the mornings and evenings are available and snacks and sodas are available through the day. (Alcoholic drinks are discounted.)
Coin-operated laundry is next to the fitness center. The property also has an outdoor pool and whirlpool. The Marriott has three onsite dining spots: The Lenox Road Bar & Grill, a lounge bar with casual dining, and a patio restaurant (open in the summer).
Self and valet parking are available for a daily fee. Wi-Fi is free in the lobby, but comes with a fee in the guestroom.

First off, not to be confused with the JW Marriott Buckhead (which is around the corner and often comes up in searches if you select Marriott Buckhead, rather than this place). Still a great location, like the JW, but the Buckhead area has lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed the MClub and thought the room was furnished nicely and everything worked. Staff was friendly, and good value all around
It is my first time to stay at this hotel. I am amazed by the staffs at the front desk. When I checked in, they clearly outlined what/when perks I can get. They also offered “green choice” to get additional points.
This hotel delivers extra customer care. The room has an air purity system and the water in the shower is also purified. I didn’t recall to see this at other Marriott hotels or other chain hotels.
The hotel is close to the train station which goes to the airport. Though I didn’t try it, it sounds like a great solution to break through the Atlanta traffic jam.
There is a big shopping mall on the other side of the street.
The suggestions for the hotel to further improve are 1) the printers at the M Club and business centers are not working. Staff at the M Club didn’t know what is wrong with the printer; 2) it is a little bit early to close the food services at the club by 8 pm, 3) the room doesn’t have a bottle of conditioner and 4) the coffee caps at the M Club have coffee stains on. I don’t think they were used before, but it is not pleasant to see they are not clean.
As other people mentioned, there is a fancy Starbucks machine but it is not working. That is basically true based on my experience. It can only brew two basic types of coffee and no specialty coffee like latte etc. If you push the chai latte button, it only comes out water.
