Attraction

Alamo Square Park

Fulton Street at Steiner Street, Western Addition, San Francisco, CA

Often seen in movies and most commonly recognized from the opening credits of “Full House,” Alamo Square is the place to go in San Francisco to see the row of gingerbread-like Victorian houses known as the Painted Ladies. The Square is actually a park, the size of four city blocks, at the top of a hill overlooking downtown San Francisco. The park offers a playground, tennis court and ample grassy areas to pop a squat and enjoy a picnic with fabulous views.
