Besides its beach to make it a family-magnet, this sprawling park at the southernmost end of Venice’s island fronts the Venetian Waterway with a kayak launch, fishing pier, and bike path paralleling it. Picnic areas and a covered playground lie nearby. High dunes edge the long stretch of beach, crossed by boardwalks. Its speckled sands are prime territory for finding shark teeth. Snorkelers look for large, fossilized teeth right offshore.
Open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily
