Fitzgeralds Park, Cork

Located in a former Georgian family home in Fitzgerald Park, the Cork Public Museum is dedicated to featuring Cork’s diverse heritage. Exhibits cover the town’s history, historical figures, military, politics, and craftsman, as well as an extensive archeology exhibit from the region, Egypt, and Greece.

Entrance to the museum is free.


Open Tuesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday (May to September), 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Closed on Mondays.


The onsite Riverview Café serves light food and snacks.


Street parking, paid parking lots, or visitor parking at the University Cork College.
