Kidspace Children’s Museum

480 N. Arroyo Blvd., Pasadena, 91103, CA

With educational, interactive and fun programming for kids age 1 to 12, Pasadena’s Kidspace Children’s Museum is a viable option for parents looking to entertain the younger members of the family.

There are literally hours of activities and exhibits built around helping children learn about the world in which they live. You can expect to be here a few hours, and when you do leave, don’t be surprised when the kids ask when they can come back.

Some of the more popular activities include the Digging Deeper Exhibit Gallery, where kids learn about insect anatomies and diets, as well as geography, plants, nature and its relationship with art, and scale the 40-foot climbing towers; the 13-exhibit Galvin Physics Forest, which introduces children to the study of physics in fun and interesting ways, with things like tennis ball launchers, bottle rockets and wheel weights; and a variety of outdoor play activities, including climbing walls and nets, water play and the imagination playground.

And when the kids get tired and need a break, take them over to the onsite Kidspace Cafe, operated by Spot Gourmet, where they can munch on burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizzas and an assortment of snacks and desserts.

If you visit on the first Tuesday of every month, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., admission to the museum is free for everyone!
