Sol Duc Falls

Sol Duc Falls

Sol Duc Road, Olympic National Park, WA

Fourteen miles off of Highway 101, the Sol Duc Falls trail is a beautiful old-growth trail with a wooden bridge and a thunderous waterfall almost a mile in (do keep an eye on small fry here). You can keep hiking, but most people turn around at the falls. We love this forest walk, but it does add extra driving. If younger kids aren’t up for it, we recommend Marymere Falls instead.

The hike was easy to navigate. The weather was perfect and the falls were really beautiful. Had the opportunity to take some great pictures. Highly recommended.
