Nice Picture Window for Viewing Water

by LoveTravel80796

Great staff, very friendly and welcoming. We asked for a room with a view on the second floor. There is no elevator, so this might be a problem for some. We really liked the set up of the room.…not huge but very nicely set up. Large desk faced the picture windows with a view of the water. King bed. Two night stands with lights. Plenty of electrical outlets. Iron/ironing board. Chair, microwave/fridge. Coffee maker. The lighting was nice and bright. The bathroom was separate with a counter top (separate from the sink area) and an area for putting suitcases. They even provided a fan if you didn’t want to use the A/C. The only negative was there is a slight step up to enter the room. No big deal…just pay attention. The breakfast had more to offer that a lot of places and it was good. The most appreciated thing was the soup from 4-6. Great way to warm up after a rainy day! The town of Port Angeles was a bit seedy, but it was convenient for seeing the northern part of the park. We would recommend the Quality Inn if you are staying in Port Angeles.

There's "quality" at this older motel

by Dave R

Quality Inns can be hit or miss, but this one is a "hit." It's an older property, but is well located (up a walkable hill from downtown Port Angeles, less than 10 minutes walk to the Victoria ferry) with views of the harbor. Staff is very friendly and tries to do nice little things for their customers (the night we arrived, there was a free "hot dog social"). Room rates are arguably expensive in summer for what the property is, but that's a problem everywhere in Port Angeles (more guests than hotel rooms). Our room was well furnished and comfortable. Plenty of free parking around, and you could leave your car on the street here if you're taking the ferry.
