Overview

Saint Ignace sits at the southern tip of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the first town visitors reach after traveling over the fames Mackinac Bridge. It is also the gateway to the time capsule natural wonder of Mackinac Island at the intersection of two Great Lakes. Very basic but reliably clean rooms offer families an inexpensive choice when visiting the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Room choices include two queen or two double beds, some with balconies, but all with free parking and Wi-Fi. The motor inn with the colorful name is about as basic as it gets but something you need nothing more than an affordable place to rest after a long day of travel to a beautiful but remote part of the country.

Traditional motel done well

by simonz123

There are some negative reviews on this place, but it is a clean well presented traditional motel.

As a visitor from the United Kingdom, I would not have expected more for the price. The team are really helpful and sorted out a booking problem (my fault) immediately.

If you want a luxurious stay, this isn’t the place, but if you need a clean warm, friendly place for a couple of nights. You could do a heck of a lot worse.
