The 63 guestrooms feature a Venetian red and gold color scheme and vary by classic, superior and junior suite. The guestrooms can accommodate anywhere from one to four people. The comfortable guestrooms feature a private bathroom, air conditioning, hairdryer and a safe in all of the rooms. The Junior Suite, ideal for a family of four, features a separate living room area. Small pets are welcome at this hotel as well.

We booked for four nights, but after only one night with nearly no sleep we had to look for a new hotel. The bed was an absolute disaster. Totally shaky and soft, you could feel every spring. We both could not sleep on it and had back pain out of hell. We had no choice. The alternative would have been to drive home after one day. So we paid two hotels.

In addition, the entire room was very, very cold. There was no chair or table where we could put our clothes. We had to lay them down on the floor. The bathroom had hardly any light and a lamp that was not bright enough. The water was freezing cold for several minutes and became warm only after some time, in addition to that it had only very low water pressure.

The three stairs were very steep and you had to carry the suitcases etc. up there.

Positive was the very nice reception and the historical building itself.

The great location is of course an advantage, but for us this accommodation was neither hospitable nor comfortable.

This bed and breakfast is truly well placed. During the tourist rush hours It's a 5 minute walk to Rialto or San Marco. During the night, its twice as fast.
One star off, because this particular bed and breakfast doesn't offer breakfast. But the owner is really nice and will give you a map and pinpoint great places to have a meal.
